California Parole Hearing

Parole refers to a court supervised program once you are released from the state prison.

California parole law dictates:

1) You will automatically be placed on parole
2) You must earn it by exhibiting good behavior and a "readiness" to reenter civilian life.
3) If you are serving a life sentence you are ineligible to be released. Also known as a sentence "without the possibility of parole." However, pending circumstances you can file an appeal with the Board of California Parole and the courts to possibly be released from jail on a parole basis.
